Finalists for International Forklift Operator of the Year 2016 Announced

40 of the very best forklift operators from across the UK, US and India will be in Birmingham from the 13th - 16th September to contend for the coveted trophy.  Throughout the 4 days of the show, visitors to the exhibition will see the finalists being put through their paces in a series of challenges to test their driving knowledge and expert materials handling. And with the contestants including previous winners of other competitions, two people still in their teens and the highest female contingent to date, the RTITB finals are becoming increasingly popular with organisations across the world.

“The International Forklift Operator of the Year award is about recognising the best of best and showing supply chain professionals that skilled, safe, efficient forklift operators can make a huge difference to productivity and profitability within their company.” says Laura Nelson, Managing Director at RTITB.

The International Forklift Operator of the Year 2016 is held each year by RTITB, and sponsored for 2016 by Unicarriers, Pyroban, McCue, B&B Attachments and Trucklog. For 2016 the competition charity partner is Transaid.  You can read more about the RTITB International Forklift Operator of the Year 2016 award at our dedicated website or follow the competition updates on Twitter @opofyear.
