Various RTITB Instructor qualifications enable instructors to deliver elements of the Master Driver for Driver CPC. These are detailed below.
For those people who are LGV trainers with non RTITB qualifications a direct entry examination process is available, though training is also an option for those wishing to ensure they are fully prepared for the examination. Lift truck trainers from other accrediting bodies and RTITB Registered Industrial and Commercial Instructors with an LGV licence held for 3 or more years can also convert to an LGV Instructor via the examination/training route.
From May 2009 onwards Instructor briefings will be available to RTITB consortium members at no charge. The briefings ensure instructors are prepared to deliver all aspects of the Master Driver modules.
