Joining the Consortium
RTITB Master Driver CPC Consortium members can deliver Driver CPC periodic training under the approval granted to RTITB by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT)
Consortium members will therefore not be required to invest in:
- Developing training materials
- Registering with JAUPT individually as an approved centre
- Issuing receipts of training or certificates as this will be done by RTITB in conjunction with the consortium member by the Master Driver Registration Scheme (MDRS)
Consortium members will also have access to:
- The MDRS database to manage training records, training plans and driver and employer future needs;
- A nationally branded quality assured UK network;
- A periodic training system which:
- dovetails with existing “employer” training materials providing, flexibility and cost effectiveness;
- is capable of internal and/or external delivery;
- Enables them to respond immediately to demand with no development costs;
- is inclusive;
In addition consortium consultation groups will be established, to ensure that consortium members’ interests are represented in the development of periodic training and training materials.
