Our materials handling accreditation scheme covers all types of lift truck and mechanically powered handling equipment. Accreditation enables RTITB registered instructors to use the RTITB name and RTITB registration number when conducting commercial training and also gives them access to the benefits listed below, as you would expect with any professional accreditation scheme high standards are of central importance to RTITB and our accredited organisations.
We currently have over 600 accredited sites providing RTITB operator training, we hold no commercial interest in any of these organisations, ensuring we maintain our independence and impartiality at all times.

- RTITB accreditation gives access to national marketing via industry press. RTITB regularly advertises our referral service in such items as Warehouse & Logistics News as well as appearing at industry shows and events

- RTITB accreditation gives access to an exclusive scheme to provide professional indemnity, public liablity, and employers liablity insurance at very competitive premiums
- An extensive range of techincal training publications are available (see publications & products) and all accredited organisations are entitled to a 25% discount on the web price
Access to the National Operator Registration Scheme (NORS)
- RTITB can produce certificates and ID cards on your behalf, saving you time and money
- NORS reinforces training standards by only registering fully validated and accredited training.
- NORS encourages repeat business by providing operators with contact details of their previous training organisation with their 3-year renewal reminder. (Please note: operators will not be provided with contact details for organisations who have not remained RTITB accredited)
Technical Support
- Accreditation gives access to technical advice and assistance. A member of the Regional Executive Team is allocated to dealing with these calls everyday, ensuring you get the answers you need.
