Industrial & Commercial Instructor Direct Entry Examination

An examination which, if successfully completed, enables instructors to register on RTITB National Register of Instructors “The Professional Register” for a period of 5 years. This examination does not include any support/tuition. Delegates are expected to arrive fully prepared for examination.

The examination consists of 2 elements which are:

1. Associated knowledge examination in the format of a multiple choice theory paper (25 Questions - pass mark 80%)
2. A classroom based lesson presentation on a job related subject (pass mark 84 out of a maximum of 140)

All elements must be successfully completed to achieve an overall pass and qualify as an Industrial & Commercial Instructor.

Successful delegates can then register on the RTITB National Register of Instructors “The Professional Register” for a period of 5 years.

Who is Eligible?

• Experienced instructors, who may not have a formal/RTITB instructor qualification
• Previously registered RTITB Industrial & Commercial Instructors who wish to renew their registration

Ratio 3:1

• RTITB Training Academy - £141 + VAT per delegate
• On your premises* - £141 + VAT per delegate (Instructor travel, subsistence and accommodation are not included. Travel is charged at 45p per mile from the instructor's home address, subsistence and accommodation are charged at cost)

Ratio 2:1

• RTITB Training Academy - £183.50 + VAT per delegate
• On your premises* - £183.50 + VAT per delegate (Instructor travel, subsistence and accommodation are not included. Travel is charged at 45p per mile from the instructor's home address, subsistence and accommodation are charged at cost)

Ratio 1:1

• RTITB Training Academy - £309 + VAT
• On your premises* - £309 + VAT (Instructor travel, subsistence and accommodation are not included. Travel is charged at 45p per mile from the instructor's home address, subsistence and accommodation is charged at cost)

Please note a Direct Entry Examination booking does not include the 5 year registration on the National Register of Instructors “The Professional Register” Fee of £75
